Tryout for Suburbia Roller Derby!
Wanna play with us? You’re in luck! We’re holding tryouts on September 18 and 20 from 7 until 9 pm at the Yonkers Police Athletic League (127 N. Broadway).
We are recruiting skaters and officials. NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED! You just have to be at least 18 years old. If you have the drive to play a full-contact competitive sport, we’ll help you get the rest of the way!
If you are interested please let us know which date(s) you will be attending and we’ll send you the paperwork. You can attend both dates! Please contact us info@suburbiarollerderby.c
Here’s what you will need to tryout:
1. Quad skates
2. Wrist guards
3. Knee pads
4. Elbow pads
5. Helmet
6. Mouth guard
Don’t have any of this? No problem! Please let us know what you need and we’ll find you some loaner equipment for tryouts. (You’ll still have to bring your own mouth guard!)
