ABOUT SUBURBIA ROLLER DERBY:

Suburbia Roller Derby (SRD) is Westchester County, New York’s only women’s flat track roller derby league. Founded in June 2007 by Slim Fast and Suffah Kate, two former CT RollerGirls, the league is made up of 2 travel teams– Suburban Brawl and Backyard Bullies – who represent us in the WFTDA East Region, and 3 intraleague-play home teams: Indian Point Sirens, Botoxic Avengers, and Country Clubbers. Our players hail from Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Northern NJ, Connecticut and NYC. Off the track, we’re business owners, educators, students, artists, executives, health care professionals, and stay-at-home moms. As a league, we call Yonkers home. We practice and bout in the Police Athletic League (PAL).
